Delivering Fresh Beer
There are a number of specific areas of the UK which are subject to higher delivery charges and these are detailed below:
Zone 2 – £18 per delivery (up to 15kg)
The Highlands Scotland covering postcodes AB36-38, AB55-56, FK17-21, IV1-39, IV52-54, IV63, KW1-14, PA21-40, PH19-26, PH30-41, PH49-50
Zone 3 – £25 per delivery (up to 15kg)
Channel Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man and Isles of Scilly covering all postcodes at these locations.
Zone 4 – £30 per delivery (up to 15kg)
Northern Ireland and Islands of Scotland including these postcodes HS1-9, IV40-51, IV55-56, KA27-28, KW15-17, PA20, PA41-49, PA60-78, PH42-44, ZE1-3 and all for Northern Ireland (BT).
Parcels dispatched for delivery to an address in Zone 2, 3 and 4 are subject to a higher delivery fee which will automatically be calculated at checkout. They will also not be eligible for the overnight delivery service with an estimated two day delivery (Monday – Thursday) however our couriers cannot always guarantee this.
We are also unable to offer ‘overweight’ parcel deliveries to Zones 2-4 at this time however we are constantly reviewing this to ensure we can offer the fairest delivery service to our customers.
Delivery to Channel Islands
Through our courier provider we are able to offer deliveries to the Channel Islands and these fall under Zone 3 for delivery fees. Unfortunately we cannot extend the free delivery option to this location.
We currently do not ship outside the UK but please feel free to get in touch and we will see what we can do and provide a quote.
We use thick walled cardboard boxes and paper or compostable packing material – we try to avoid plastic where possible but will sometimes reuse bubble wrap from any packaging in orders we receive.
Very occasionally, an order may arrive damaged due to courier mishandling. We prefer to refund on these rare occasions rather than use more wasteful packaging on every delivery. If your delivery arrives damaged, please send us a photo of the package and broken contents and we will arrange a refund or, if practical, a replacement.
If you’re unhappy with your delivery, please contact us via the ‘contact us page’ within seven working days after it’s received. The items must be returned in their original condition and packaging within 14 days from the date of delivery of your order. We will refund the value of your order minus any discounts and delivery charges. Ensuring the safe return of the package and postage cost will be the responsibility of you, the customer.
Title is retained with Maltings Taphouse Ltd until payment in full is received, and until you, the customer, take final delivery of the goods.
We make every effort to supply goods as shown on our web site, however occasionally we do have to substitute beers for an alternative of equal or greater value, where a valid substitute is available. In the event this needs to happen, we will always attempt to contact you first.
