The Maltings Taphouse and Bottleshop is a trading name of The Maltings Taphouse Ltd (“We”). We are a limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 10600875. We are authorised by Teignbridge District Council to supply alcohol for consumption both on and off the premises under licence number TEIP000015.

By registering your details on our website, you consent to The Maltings Taphouse Ltd maintaining, recording, holding and using personal data we collect about you. We promise to never share or disclose your personal information with anyone else unless legally obliged to by the Government agencies. We are fully committed to the Data Protection Act 2018, and are dedicated to the privacy of your information.
When you register as a customer, you have the option to opt in to receive regular email newsletters and offers. However if you change your mind at any time and would prefer not to receive emails from us, please use our contact us page selecting ‘unsubscribe’. We will never pass on your details to a third party for marketing purposes.
All prices are quoted in pounds sterling and are inclusive of UK VAT.
We reserve the right to change prices without notice.
Whilst we try to ensure all pricing on the website is correct occasionally an error may occur and items may be incorrectly priced. If we discover a pricing error we will contact you and ask if you wish to continue with the order at the correct price or cancel. We will not be obliged to supply items that are the incorrect price.
Billing Information & Card Security
We accept all major credit and debit cards, including Mastercard, Visa and American Express. For card transactions, payments are securely processed using SSL protocol via the Paypal payment gateway.
All credit card information is encrypted in our software when your order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our payment gateway. They are not held in clear text on ours or any other website.
Returns, Cancellations & Non-Delivery
If you’re unhappy with your delivery then please contact us via email or telephone within seven working days after it’s received. The items must be returned in their original condition and packaging within 14 days from the date of delivery of your order. We will refund the value of your order minus any discounts and delivery charges. Ensuring the safe return of the package and postage cost will be the responsibility of the customer. Breakages do occasionally happen. Please let us know straight away if there’s anything broken and we’ll refund you for the broken items.
Title is retained with The Maltings Taphouse Ltd until payment in full is received, and until the customer takes final delivery of the goods.
We make every effort to supply goods as shown on our web site, however occasionally we do have to substitute beers for an alternative of equal or greater value, where a valid substitute is available. In this event, we will attempt to contact you first.
In accordance with the Licensing Act 1964, it is an offence for any person under 18 to buy or attempt to buy intoxicating drinks. By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. If our couriers are in any doubt of the age of the recipient of an order they will request photographic ID. In the event that this is not satisfied they are not permitted to leave the delivery.
Maltings Taphouse Ltd are completely dedicated to your total satisfaction. As a company, we are entirely dependent on our customers and welcome comments, suggestions and complaints and will always do our utmost to help.
In the event of complaint, please contact us by phone or email giving as much detail are you can. We aim to acknowledge all complaints within 72 hours and to resolve within 5 days. We will keep you informed if there is any delay beyond this.
